Vera Wang Look
Appearance is the latest scent for girls of Vera Wang. Vera Wang, needless to say, is famous for her bridal wear, as well as the scents (with the noteworthy exception of the extremely popular -towards-the-youthful Princess) have been directly in the form that is bridal: pretty, intimate, basically old-fashioned. Appearance plans to break from that form. It is tied to Wang's ready to wear line in place of the bridal line, and purports to be "daring, alluring and captivating" and "lavish, prestigious and modern"
Appearance is Princess' older sister that is classy -- but it'sn't about an age. It is about an assurance degree. It is also making the statement that we're a fashion house as an alternative to a bridal house. And we are not about a skintight evening dress; we are more artsy.*
I will confess to understanding absolutely zero about Vera Wang's ready to wear line, but if Appearance's juice is any indicator, "more artsy" has to be interpreted only in the comparative sense.
Look is more complex than Princess, although not by much, and of the six traits quoted in the initial paragraph above (daring, alluring, captivating, luxury, prestigious, modern), the single one I had vouch for is "modern", as well as then, it's not just "of the second" -- this kind of fruit Stuff that is fresh Blossoms scent was done frequently enough in the previous 10 years. The aspect I had choose would likely be "safe". Mind you, it is totally wearable and nice enough, it simply is not uncommon or at all interesting, and while it is arguably bridal than the others it strikes me as an essentially conservative scent.
